Great Britain: 1897 (9 Apr.) envelope to Tientsin marked "Last Letter" bearing 1897 Jubilee 2½d. purple on blue tied by hooded London c.d.s. Sent back to London on arrival there is a good strike of "customs/tientsin" c.d.s. (28.8) in blue alongside the adhesive; the reverse bears a similar Customs Tientsin (19.5), Customs Shanghai (22.5), two indistinct Hong Kong c.d.s. (29.5) and Hampstead arrival (26.6). A scarce and desirable cover with Peter Holcombe notation. Photo
