1896 (3 Apr.) 1ca. on 2ca. stationery card to Austria cancelled by a fine strike of the Chungking boxed datestamp in purple, a fine strike of the double-circle datestamp "chungking l.p.o. shanghai agency" datestamp (23.4), a pair of Hong Kong 2c. carmine tied by British Post Office Shanghai c.d.s. (24.4), Hong Kong c.d.s. (26.4) and French packet no.1 datestamp (29.4); the reverse bears Chungking 4ca. blue tied by the despatch datestamp and a fine strike of Prague arrival (23.5). Thought to be the only surcharged card for external post and the earliest use of this card. Fine and attractive. Photo


1896年4月3日重慶銀貳分改銀壹分郵資片寄奥地利, 銷較完整紫色方框型重慶日戳, 雙圈重慶 "I.P.O. Shanghai Agency" 日戳, 加貼香港2 仙票两枚, 銷4月24日上海英國客郵戳, 4月26日香港中轉戳, 及4月29日法國packet No.1 八角型戳, 片背貼重慶肆銀分票, 銷調發戳, 有5月23日Prague 的到達戳. 此片被認為是寄國外的重慶改值及混貼片, 亦是此片極早期實寄例, 不可多得的珍罕郵資片.
