China: Northern Song Dynasty, Zhong He Tong Bao, 1 cash, (960-1127), clerical script, 25.3mmx1.0mm, weighs 3.3g, Zhong Qian 80. Struck during brief Zhong He era (November 1118 to February 1119) during the reign of Huizong. This very short era, together with the impending disastrous Jingkang Incident at the start of Jin-Song Wars in 1125 resulted in very few suriving examples. One of the iconic types of the Northern Song era and a decent example too. Extremely rare. Dr. Werner Burger Collection [71]


北宋重和通寶小平錢，隸書版，宋徽宗趙佶重和元年（公元1118）鑄造，25.3x1.0mm，重3.3克，中乾評82，重和年號僅使用三個月，適逢南北宋交替時期，國內起義不斷，對外則聯金滅遼，之後金兵屢次南下，最後金兵更發動靖康之變。在內憂外患，戰亂頻繁的氣候當中，兼鑄造期限極短，得以存世的重和通寶極少。
