China: Liao Dynasty, (907-1125), group of 8x 1 cash coins consisting of: Qing Ning Tong Bao, Da Kang Tong Bao, Da Kang Yuan Bao, Da An Yuan Bao (Chang An Mint, weighs 2.9g), Da An Tong Bao, Shou Chang Yuan Bao, Qian Tong Yuan Bao and Tian Qing Yuan Bao (weighs 3.9g), these coins were issued in the reigns of the last two Liao Emperors, Daozong (r.1055-1101) and Tianzuodi (r.1101-1125), the Chang An Da An graded Zhong Qian 80, the Tian Qing graded 82, the rest very good to about very fine. (8) [102-109] The Liao Dynasty (916-1125) was founded by Abaoji and quickly made important territorial gains, especially the Sixteen Prefectures (modern day Beijing and Hebei Province) at the expense of the Later Tang Dynasty. These lands were only occupied by Han Chinese again in 1368 with the formation of the Ming Dynasty. War between Liao and Northern Song broke out soon after the latter's formation and ended with the Chanyuan Treaty in 1005 which ushered in 120 years of relatively peace until Northern Song joined forces with the Jurchen Jin's to destroy Liao in 1125.


契丹遼朝古錢一組8枚，包括：清寧通寶；大康通寶；大康元寶；大安元寶（長安），重.9克；大安通寶；壽昌元寶；乾統元寶；天慶元寶，重3.克；全部於最後遼朝兩任皇帝遼道宗及遼天祚帝年間（公元1055年 - 1125年）鑄造，長安版大安元寶和天慶元寶分別評中乾80及82，其他品相約VG至VF。遼朝（公元916年－1125年） 在耶律阿保機在建立契丹國前出征室韋得勝，隨後亦攻滅渤海國，而繼任的遼太宗統一契丹後，支援石敬塘推翻後唐政權建後晉獲得燕雲十六州（現今北京、天津海河以北，以及山西、河北北部）為報酬。直至1368年明太祖朱元璋結束蒙元在中國漢地的統治，丟失超過四百年的燕雲十六州才被漢族政權收回。遼朝於公元1125年被女真族成立的金朝和北宋聯合消滅。
