1943-1946 A series of highly classified & confidential photographs compiled by the Inter Service Typographical Department (ISTD) under Naval Intelligence auspicies at Oxford between 1943 and 1946. The unit collated all sorts of information about ports, coastlines, communications and other points of interest to help and prepare reports and geotechnical maps to guide planning of Allied military operations.
The photo series contains 30 photos, taken in the following locations: Guangdong Province, Fujian, Hong Kong (Hong Kong, Kowloon, New Territories), Shanghai, etc., with detailed descriptions of each photo.
