China, Republic, a small 14K gold shield presented to General Tsai Ting Kai by overseas Chinese of Philadelphia, 1934, the shield engraved with Chinese text, linked with a pinned plate with four Chinese characters 'National Hero', manufactured by Parker, almost uncirculated, well preserved, scarce. General Tsai Ting Kai(1892-1968) was famous for the '128 Shanghai Incident' fighting against the Japanese invasion in 1932, he was the Commander of the 19th Route army.
