Banque de L'Indo Chine, 100 dollars/100 piastres, Shanghai, 15.1.1902, serial number 0.0 000, red with black text, Vasco da Gama at left, man with paddle at right, junk boat and masted ships lower centre, reverse deep yellow, Chinese text,
(Pick S440Cs), PMG 63EPQ Choice Uncirculated (Printer's Annotations). The ONLY note in the PMG population report and the highest denomination of this series. Extremely rare if not unique given that no other examples are known at present. The Banque de L'Indo Chine was founded in 1875 to help the French Government to administer their colonial properties in South East Asia. It began its China operations in 1889 with the opening of the Canton Shameen branch followed by the Shanghai branch in 1899. As collectors of Chinese Foreign Bank banknotes are well aware both issued or specimen notes from this bank are extremely rare, let alone the large sized $100 note in virtually pristine conditon. A once in a generation opportunity to acquire this fabulous note


1902年東方匯理銀行100元樣票，上海地名，編號0.0 000，PMG 63EPQ，有印刷廠書寫，此票未見過流通版本，已成為洋商客鈔罕品之一，PMG僅得一枚記錄，亦為同系列中最高之面值，相信存世量極微，現時已知的只得一枚。東方匯理銀行成立於 1875年，幫助法國政府管理其東南亞殖民地之財產，它於 1889年開始在中國開展業務，先在廣州沙面開立銀行，隨後在1899年於上海設立分行。中國外商鈔票藏家定必了解該行之流通鈔及樣鈔皆極其稀有，這枚完好無損之大型100元樣票更萬中無一，僅得珍視，切勿錯過!
