Sarawak, 1/4 cent, PATTERN Broad-Struck, 1863,
PATTERN or trial from unfinished dies. The "period" has not been added after the "J" on the obverse, nor has the beading around the rim on either the obvrse or the reverse. Struck on an oversized planchet.
NGC PF 63BN. Very sharply struck, the obverse lustrous. Previously unrecorded and possibly unique. Lacking in the Diana collection which contained no patterns or trials. #2616643-019.
