People's Republic of China, a pair of uniface obverse printer's model/artist's rendition and a progressive proof for the same 2 Yuan design, 1973, serial number III V III 0000000. The two designs as follows:
Artist's rendition: brown, 'Iron Man' Wang Jinxi at left overseeing the Daqing Oil Fields in the distance, bank title 'ZHONGGUO RENMIN YINHANG' in Chinese and other scripts at top centre right, '2' at top left and right corners, '2 YUAN' at lower left corner.

Progressive proof: same design in black and white without Wang Jinxi at left and the serial number.

(Pick unlisted), both encapsulated by PMG and is connected together vertically. The artist's rendition is encapsulated without a grade and the progressive proof is graded 64EPQ Choice Uncirculated. The PMG holders are combined together vertically. An interesting earlier design with the same theme as the 1975 proof. Unique.


1973年中國人民銀行2元正面彩繪稿（定稿）及單色試印樣票，編號III V III 0000000，設計如下： 彩繪稿（定稿）：啡色，左邊為「鐵人」王進喜，遠眺大慶油田，右上有「中國人民銀行」中文字樣、拼音及其他文字，左上，右上及右下角有“2”字，“2元” 在左下角，稿件是三七品工程以鐵人王進喜為原型，以“工業學大慶”運動為主題設計的人民幣樣稿 單色試印樣票：與上方設計一致，改以黑白印刷，無王進喜像及編號，本票以彩繪稿為基礎，修改後以凹印防偽，具有鈔票的單色防偽樣票技術 2枚合併於PMG封套，以垂直方向置放，前者未有評分，後者則評64EPQ，饒富趣味的設計，與後來1975年的主題一致，碩果僅存的一組，珍罕 早期人民幣紙鈔的設計是由印鈔廠和國內知名美術學院大師合作，配合當時的政治思想和文化，初由手繪形式創作，各版別都出自不同大師手筆 創作稿經修改後，再加入人民幣的格式，調整完成後呈交主管及審核部門，經採納後就成定稿，再以此為基礎作出潤飾。人民幣的初始印製是單色試印，再逐步試色打樣，經過多種加工完成，最終成為完整的流通票 本系列設計概念取源自寶島事件，鈔票上的人物展現了英勇氣概及光輝形象。隨著時間的流逝，當年列作機密的史料檔案將逐漸浮現於世
