Mercantile Bank of India, $50, 1.7.1935, black serial number 75818, brown, green and lilac and blue, classical male head at left, value at centre and each each corner, one printed and one handsigned signatures below, reverse brown and pale green, temple and steps at centre,
(Pick 240a), PMG 30 Very (Minor Repairs, Foreign Substance). The minor repairs are on the central upper and lower borders. The rest of the note retaining nice colours and the neat and concise signature of James Stewart well preserved. A lovely note seldomly found in this grade!
