Andaman Islands, 1 Rupee, 1861, NGC MS 55 BN, This is a country with only two coins: the 1 Rupee of 1861 and the even rarer 1 Rupee of 1865,
(NGC Cert. # 5925749-002).

Very rare and highly desirable.
*For the history of this isolated territory, the Andaman Islands Wiki is recommended. Numismatically, however, there is only the extremely rare coinage of the early 1860's. The finest reference is still the work of Major Fred Pridmore from 1962.
