1903 (25 Sept.) opened-out envelope registered from the Russo-Chinese Bank to Yonkers "Per 'Empress of Japan" bearing a three-colour 12c. franking tied by good strikes of the double-oval "u.s. postal agency - reg/shanghai-china" struck in blue with a further strike on the reverse, type V Shanghai Agency duplex and type II registration label in red on white, the reverse with Seattle registration datestamp (14.10) and Yonkers, N.Y. arrival (20.10) c.d.s.; horizontal folding crease A very good cover and rare use of the registration oval.
