Shanhaikwan: 1909 (9 Aug.) pictures post card from Canada to "French troops" and addressed to Peking, the address side bears a superb strike of oval "shanghaikwan/i.j.t.o." datestamp (2.11) struck in purple, a second strike is on the picture side along with Canada 1c. tied by Edmonton despatch duplex. A fine card. Interesting and unusual use of this very scarce datestamp. Photo
