1898 (5 Apr.) missionary envelope to New York bearing I.C.P. 4c. and 5c. with C.I.P. 1c. tied by Shanghai Dollar dater and used with Japan Koban 10s. brown tied by the type VII Shanghai I.J.P.O. c.d.s. The cover was overweight, so underpaid and with Japan P.O. Shanghai circular tax mark, Chinese P.O. large "T" in red, two U.S. tax marks and a pair of 5c. Postage Due stamps cancelled in manuscript, New York and Albany (6.5) backstamps. Some faults on the reverse. An attractive taxed cover. Photo
