1897 (3 Apr.) long envelope to Shanghai, treble weight, bearing 2c. on 2ca. green (6) tied by Kiukiang pa-kua with neat Customs Kiukiang despatch c.d.s. in red in the lower corner and, on the reverse, Customs Shanghai arrival (5.4) and postman's notation. One 2c. with 3.5mm spacing. There is a vertical crease towards the left of the envelope, well away from the stamps and markings. A very good cover. Pays 4c. letter rate. Photo
