The Mercantile Bank of India, $10, colour trial, no printed dated but liley to be 1912 as the printed siganture is Macdonald, green and black, sampan, houses and bridge near lakeside at centre, reverse purple-brown and black, Mercury with winged helmet at centre,
(Pick 236cts), PMG 62 (Toned). An extremely rare early colour trial. Althouugh a very few have come out to the market in recent years the catalogue is quite certain that this is the only one example bearing the Macdonald signature (and hence should be dated 1912). Most of the other notes are either dated 1930 or bear the signature from that date. Possibly unique!


有利銀行試色樣鈔10元，無日期，應為1912年版別，PMG 62，有黃，極罕見的早期試色樣票，近年市場出現過數枚類似版別，但Macdonald簽名卻是絕無僅有的，因此可斷言是1912年版別，其他試色樣票都是1930年後或配以1930年後的簽名，珍罕無比
