The People's Bank of China, 4th series renminbi, 1978, uniface obverse and reverse archival photographs of unadopted designs for 1, 2, 5, 10, 50 and 100 yuan, these are official archival photgraphs of printer's models for this series. The designs are only slightly similar to the final designs dated 1980,
all graded PMG 63 and 64. An important set as it allows the student of notaphily to appreciate the procedures in banknote design and production. Important (6 pairs)
