Great Britain: 1897 (9 Apr.) envelope to Tientsin marked "Last Letter" bearing 1897 Jubilee 2?d. tied by hooded London c.d.s. and redirected back to London with a good strike of "customs/tientsin" c.d.s. (28.8) struck in blue alongside the adhesive for the start of its return journey; the reverse with a similar Customs Tientsin (19.5) arrival c.d.s. plus Customs Shanghai (22.5), two indistinct Hong Kong c.d.s. (29.5) and Hampstead arrival (25.6). A scarce and desirable cover. With Peter Holcombe pencil notation. Photo


英國: 1897年4月9日倫敦寄天津封, 有 "最後的信" 英文字樣, 貼2.5d.票, 銷倫敦日戳, 退返倫敦時蓋藍色8月28日天津海關日戳, 由此而展開其遞返倫敦之旅; 封背蓋5月19日天津海關到達戳, 旁有5月22日上海海關日戳, 兩枚模糊的5月29日香港日戳, 及6月25日Hampstead 到達戳. 罕見及保存良好. 有Peter Holcombe 鉛筆記錄.
