The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, $500, a pair of uniface obverse and reverse archival photogrpahic proofs, 31.3.1976, handwritten date '25.8.1976' on lower border. The design is remarkably similar to the issued note apart from the date and the lower right signature and its title. The reverse proof has a handwritten date March-Aug 1973 and is reminiscent of the design for the $100 of the same series, though there are subtle differences in the arches and the emblem at right,
the obverse is graded PMG 66EPQ, the reverse 64 (1 pair)
