1878 (25 Nov.) envelope to London "Via Brindisi" bearing wing margin 16c. yellow tied by a good strike of the type C "Y1" in black with a good strike of the Yokohama c.d.s. alongside and, on the reverse, Hong Kong (2.12) and London arrival c.d.s. (11.1). A good single 16c. franked cover paying the premium rate via Brindisi. Rare as there are thought to be only three such covers recorded. Photo
