1937 (9 July) envelope to Hong Kong “Via Airmail via Shanghai” bearing 1y. franking tied by Osaka c.d.s. in violet with straight-line “Par avion de Shanghai et au dela” in purple; Kowloon arrival on the reverse (13.7); vertical fold at left. This was the last flight between Shanghai and Hong Kong before this route was interrupted by the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War. Photo
