"Via Japan" bearing Koban 5s. blue tied by a fine strike of the type IV c.d.s. for Meiji 26 and, on the reverse, Shanghai Local Post (16.5) in blue, Yokohama (25.5), San Francisco (18.6) and part arrival c.d.s. This Shanghai postmark, with larger letters, was employed from 1893-94. Photo
