1949 (15 Aug.) opened-out envelope to Shanghai sent insured registered bearing, overlapping on the reverse, $5 (24) and $21 (10) cancelled by Boxing c.d.s., with part of the registration receipt, insured handstamp, the despatch c.d.s. with manuscript date insertion and the arrival c.d.s. (24.8); some of the adhesives overlap the edge of the envelope. A very good franking paying postage $70, registration $200 and insurance $60 making the total of $330. Photo
