1937 (11 Jan.) air mail cover registered to France, bearing Szechwan Martyrs 20c. and 50c. plus 1936 5c. on 16c. making a 75c. franking tied by Chengtu c.d.s., the cover is marked "To Peiping, thence via Siberia to France" with "Chengtu" registration label and Par Avion etiquette in pale blue and, on the reverse, Peiping c.d.s. (12.1); light vertical folding crease. The surcharged Junk series stamps were not valid after 1st January but their late use was still accepted in Szechwan. Photo
