The Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China, $100, CONTEMPORARY FORGERY, 2.6.1930, serial number W/K 035037, blue and black, Minerva at left, watermark area at right, the reverse predominantly blue, sampan and junk boat at centre,
(Pick 52 for type), crisp very fine and in superb condition. No genuine issued notes have been seen to date. An excellent attempt at forging this type with good details apart from the watermark area which is somewhat crude.
