1938 (6 Sep.) airmail cover to Hankow bearing Martyrs 8c. on 40c. in block of four tied by Shanghai c.d.s, with postal instruction on the cover "air mail via Hong Kong", showing Hankow arrival c.d.s. (21.9) on reverse. During the time of the Battle of Wuhan, the sender does not want the mail transit across the regions engaged and choose to send the mail by air.


1938年上海經香港寄漢口航空封1件，信封正面寄信人標注英文航空經香港要求，貼京版烈士加蓋暫作8分四方連，另貼航空條，銷上海9月6日戳，有漢口21日到達戳，此時武漢會戰正值如火如荼階段，寄信人為郵件免於戰事原因耽擱，因此選擇繞行香港之辦法，反應武漢會戰歷史背景，保存完好，難得
