1897 (16 Nov.) a registered envelope to Austria bearing Ichang set of 1st issue and 1/2ca. x 4, 1ca. and 2ca. tied by Ichang dollar dater, very scarce of Local Post stamps cancelled by Imperial post office, mixed with ICP 20c. tied by Ichang(17.11.) dollar dater and ‘R’ handstamp, the address side with France 50c. tied by Shang-Hai/Chine c.d.s. and small boxed ‘R’ handstamp, very rare usages.


1897年宜昌寄奧地利掛號封1件，貼宜昌書信館第一版半分7枚，1分2枚，2分4枚，3分，1錢，1.5錢，3錢各一枚，及石印版蟠龍20分1枚，書信館郵票銷宜昌11月16日大圓戳，蟠龍銷宜昌次日大圓戳，另蓋宜昌R戳，經上海中轉，有上海藍色大圓戳，另貼法國客郵50分1枚，銷法國客郵25日戳，及蓋法國客郵局R戳，有奧地利到達戳，郵路清晰，保存完好，宜昌書信館經實寄者非常少見
