1851 (26 Sept.) entire letter to New York from Augustine Heard & Co, "overland" and "Via Marseilles" rated "6" in black ink with fine strikes of London (21.11) Lombard Street transit datestamp and New York Pail All (6.12) with handstruck "48" applied over "38" and both crossed through with black ink; redirected to Newport on arrival. 1851年9月26日寄紐約封, 寄件人為"Augustine Hrard & Co." 黑墨水寫有"平郵","經馬賽", 郵費為"6"等字樣, 蓋有11月21日倫敦Lombard Street中轉戳, 12月6日紐約戳, 並手蓋"48"及"38"印記, 兩者都被黑墨水打了"X", 該信到達紐約後, 再被轉遞往Newport. 保存整潔完好, 水原明窗舊藏.
