Paotingfu: (Hopeh) 1919 (20 Nov.) red band cover to U.S.A. bearing, on the reverse, first Peking Junk 5c. (2, one defective corner) tied by fine strikes of the large "paotingfu" bilingual c.d.s. (Chinese characters in a straight line) with numeral "14" at foot, with a further strike on the address side; with Peking bilingual transit (21.11) and no other postmarks; some light soiling. A scarce postmark, not recorded in this format. Photo.
