1940 (6 June) air mail envelope to Marseille bearing $2.25 franking tied by Shanghai c.d.s. with grey Par Avion etiquette which has been cancelled by two-line jusqu'à in red (London), with triangular "passed censor/hong kong/4" struck in turquoise, with censor seal at side and Victoria Hong Kong backstamp (12.6); there is a vertical fold. An intriguing cover, the KLM route was shortened to Naples from May 1940. Pays postage 20c. and air mail $1.75. Photo
