1923 (8 May) envelope sent express to Shanghai bearing, on the reverse, 1c. and 16c. tied by Tientsin English/Chinese c.d.s. with the Express label at the side, the arrival c.d.s. is on the address side. A little roughly opened at top. The 16c. is rarely found on cover and an interesting rate paying local postage 1c. plus registered expredd 16c.
