Bank of England, a £5 World War II German counterfeit note, 17.1.1936, and a £5 note, 25.6.1956, serial numbers A/270 51819 and D24A 058688 respectively, the counterfeit note was issued under Operation Bernhard whereby Nazi Germany forged British banknotes during 1942-1945, this particular note was issued at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp located at Berlin and signed by the Jewish inmates,
