Farmers Bank of China, lot of 2 progressive proofs for 1 yuan, series of 1935 and 1941, the first note brown, red serial number QB000000, but without the red seal signatures at lower left and right, the green printing on the obverse and reverse seem to be more prominent than found on the normal issued note. The second note a uniface obverse plate colour (brown) of the design but printed in a mirror image of itself such that it appears a 'brockage'. The cataloguer has not seen this type of material before,
(Pick 457pr and 474pr), both almost uncirculated, the second note encapsulated in a PMG holder but without a grading score. Fascinating.
