1949 (12 Oct.) registered airmail to Canton bearing Dr. S.Y.S. surcharged with silver yuan currency 5c on $2000 in block of six with imprint margin tied by Eastern Szechwan Hwalungkiao c.d.s. with Chungking (13.10) (16.10) and next year Taiwan (10.2) transit c.d.s. Due to the Chinese People's Liberation War, the Communist going to take over Canton and finally under their control on 14 Oct 1949, this cover has to stay at Chungking with two transit c.d.s and then forward to Taiwan for transit after a long delay. An interesting cover showing the Liberation history of Canton.
