Republic of China, a trial strike of the obverse for the 1914 Yuan Shih Kai $1, cupro nickel, 38mm diameter, weighs, 33.0 grams, the obverse is struck in high relief with very clear details and the reverse is blank,
uncirculated, slight ding near 9 o' clock and some ink marks around the right edge. The items belongs to the Chief Engraver of the Royal Mint in the United Kingdom by descent. Extremely rare.
