Tibet, a large group of approximately 180x 10 srang notes from 1941 - 1950, blue and red, three notes, one with serial number 28393 and black seal type 4.

obverse: In the central panel two lions (possibly a lioness with her cub) facing left, play with a wheel which has eight spokes and long streamers; reverse: the middle part of the central panel is enclosed by lines which form a cartouche. Below, a pond in which a lotus flower and a large flower on either side are growing. Above three mythical animals: on top a snow lion with garuda head, below left, a sea monster (chu srin; Sanskrit makara) issuing from a conch and below right an otter with fish-head. These three mythical animals are known in Tibet as the "three non-harmonious brothers on the battle field" (mi mthun g.yul rgyal) as each of them is composed of two animals which normally do not live together in harmony.
On either side of the central cartouche one sees two dragons (g.yu ´brug "turquoise dragon") and a ball with streamers among clouds,
