Unissued 56c., imperforate proof in rose-carmine with large margins all round showing the outer frame lines. This stamps shows the secret marks "T" to right of upper emblem and inverted "E" to left of tie. The printing is very sharp of a die proof on paper. Thinning on reverse where this proof was mounted for display. Rare. Photo
