$1 on 3c. red [23] from sheet position [93] (showing scratch under "R") cancelled by a light and central strike of Customs Kiungchow c.d.s. dated 1897 (8 Mar.); a couple of surface abrasions at foot and lower perforations have been improved. Brilliant colour and of outstanding appearance. This stamp would have been used on a Remittance Certificate. R.P.S. Certificate (2017) which incorrectly states the postmark to be Kiukiang. Photo
