1894 (3 Mar.) envelope from the Japanese consulate in Chefoo to Italy bearing 1893 1c. red with Japan Koban 2s., 3s. and 5s. all tied by good strikes of "i.j.p.o chefoo/meiji 27" c.d.s. with I.J.P.O. Shanghai alongside (19.3), the reverse, with the consulate handstamp, Yokohama tranist and Naples arrival. An unusual franking and a charming international cover. Photo
