Cambodia, pair of 1 riel and 5 riels, specimen, 1956-75, serial numbers 000000 for both notes, both are colour trials, 1 riel in purple and green, no. 60 on reverse, red ‘SPECIMEN’ overprinted at centre, 5 riels in green, no 169 on reverse, red ‘SPECIMEN’ overprinted at centre, an important pair as these are the notes on which the designs are APPROVED and SIGNED, presumably by the bank officials, however, the issued notes are of a different colour to these,
(Pick 4ct and 5ct), about extremely fine, comes with the official De La Rue envelope in which they have been stored for nearly 50 years. A unique offering
