An attractive and valuable mint collection in Lighthouse album from 1862 set to 96c. (some reperforated); 1863-71 set to 96c. olive-brown, mixed gum though the 96c. is good; 1880 10c. on 12c. unused plus a used example showing variety broken "0", 1876 16c. on 18c. unused and used, 1879 3c. on 16c. and 5c. on 18c.; 1880 new colours to 48c. brown; later surcharge sets including 1898 10c. on 30c. and $1 on 96c. (tiny thin) without Chinese handstamp; some Postal Fiscals. Comprehensive later issues with K.E.VII 1903 set to $10 mint, 1904-11 set to $10; K.G.V with 1912-21 set to $10 with some shades including $5 on blue-green, olive back fine mint, 1921-37 set to $5, K.G.VI 1938-48 to both $10 and Silver Wedding $10; Q.E. with issues to 1983 including 1971-73 $10 on glazed paper unmounted mint; also Postage Dues, Japanese Occupation and British Post Offices in China with 1917-21 set to $10 and 1922-27 set to $2. A very appealing collection; the condition of some of the Queen Victoria is, naturally, a little mixed but the later issues are generally fine to very fine. Worthy of close inspection.
