1875 (21 Jan.) 1s. blue uprated with Cherry Blossom 1s. blue, syl.1 to Asaoi-Mura, via Hachiman, Goshu (near Shiga), cancelled by Tokyo oval with the despatch c.d.s. on the reverse. There was no post office or agency near the delivery address, the additional postage was required for delivery by local police. Also 1874 (21 Nov.) ½s. syl. 6 used locally in Tokyo with the same oval cancellation. (2 covers). Photo
