— Chungking; 1941 (25.Nov.) home-made brown paper envelope registered to Scotland and marked "Air Mail up to Hongkong and onward by surface transport" bearing Sun Yat Sen $2 with framed handstamp in violet and a further $1 franking cancelled by Shanshengkou c.d.s. with the registration label alongside and Hong Kong boxed "not opened/by/censor", faint Hong Kong backstamp (27.11). An unusual and appealing cover which should be $1 postage, $1 registration and 25c. air mail to Hong Kong. Photo
