— 1949 (3 Nov.) airmail envelope to Germany (British Zone) bearing $500 on $500 tied by Tientsin c.d.s., the "Via Air Mail" has been crossed out in blue crayon, the reverse bearing pictorial commemorative postmark and Hong Kong transit (14.11); two punch holes at right. Also 1949 (10 Nov.) envelope to New York bearing, on the reverse, $20 on 50c. red-orange (5) and $80 on $1 (5) tied by Peking c.d.s.; a very good franking.
