— 1947 (8 Apr.) envelope to Tientsin bearing $50 brown (2, one folded over edge of envelope) tied by an unclear strike of Hokien dotted c.d.s., there is a fine strike of Hokien English/Chinese c.d.s. (7.5) and, on the reverse, Tientsin machine postmark (11.5); some peripheral faults which have been repaired. A good example of delayed mail due to the war with the nationalists. Photo
