photographic proofs for 10 rupees, the ‘Statue of Parakkrama’ series, c.1966 to 1968, on the casual glance similar to the ones issued but on closer inspection these proofs have different vignettes,
borders and angles of the statue, the reverses are noticeably different, featuring gardens, modern dam and oxen ploughin, (Pick not listed),
(7 obverses and 6 reverses), unique.
