1876 (21 July) envelope to London bearing 12c. pale blue tied by "B62" with a very good strike of "ship-letter/london" Paid c.d.s. (19.9) in red alongside; the reverse bearing Hong Kong c.d.s. overstruck by London arrival. The envelope is slightly reduced at top and with some creasing and wrinkling. The date on the reverse is unclear, but an interesting cover apparently paying the 12c. rate by U.S. packet which was introduced on 2nd September 1876. Photo
