Nicholson envelope to Melbourne "Via Galle" bearing 1863-71 24c. strip of three (two small corner defects) cancelled by "B62" with "3/-" rate mark in red crayon below, the reverse with Hong Kong code "C" transit (27.3) and Melbourne arrival (5.5) c.d.s.; some wrinkling and creasing. Manuscript notation on face confirms that this originated in Foochow. Photo
