Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China, Hong Kong, colour trial $10, 1.12.1911, no serial numbers green (issued note in mauve), arms at centre, pagoda and ship at left, arms at centre, boat sailing through gorges at right, reverse brown and blue,
(Pick 42cts), PMG 63, previously mounted. An eye-catching colour trial in green of the first Chartered Bank Waterlow printing series. Noted mounting though very minor but unavoidable as colour trials were often mounted on booklets for salesman to carry with them when offering Waterlow's services. Printing and stamps overprints remain vibrant. A Hong Kong rarity!
