China, Warring States period, [GBCA 85] bronze knife money, 567-386 B.C., from the State of Qi, Chinese characters 'Ji Mo Zhi Fa Hua' on obverse, 'Shang' on reverse, 186.0x3.9mm, weighs 48.8 Cert. #1120622213. An impeccable example of this RARE and iconic 5 character knife money, and definitely among the earliest types of large sized knife currency issued by the State of Qi, with the current example minted after the State of Qi conquered the State of Lai including the city of Mo Zhi


戰國時期齊國五字刀即墨之法化，背面面文「上」，尺寸186.0×3.9毫米，重48.8克，公博 85。此枚刀幣品相臻至完美，字口及刀型清晰，外廓典雅之餘亦官氣十足，更是極為罕見且極具代表性之版式。齊大刀共分五期，即墨之法化為齊靈公滅萊國，佔即墨後所鑄，屬於第一期
